Overview

Akkodis invites applications for the role of Purchase Order Management Analyst for a 12-month contract, fully remote within the United States, with potential extension. The remuneration ranges from $35 to $40 per hour, potentially subject to adjustment based on experience, education, location, and additional considerations.

Role Summary

This position operates within the Global Workplace Experience team in the U.S., focusing on purchase order lifecycle and purchase-to-pay operations. The analyst will offer dependable procedural support, visibility through reporting, and assist in resolving issues to facilitate operational leaders in managing procurement activities aligned with business strategies, budgets, and compliance requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee the intake and validation of purchase requisition forms ensuring all information and attachments meet standards.
  • Create and monitor purchase requisitions primarily using the ARIBA system, aligning with priorities, authorized approvals, and internal policies including FCPA compliance.
  • Manage purchase orders from approval through supplier notification, tracking status updates related to approvals, receipts, and invoices until closure.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for resolving invoice holds and payment processing issues.
  • Handle vendor maintenance procedures such as onboarding new suppliers and updating payment terms to maintain accurate supplier records within ARIBA.
  • Respond to requisition inquiries through direct engagement with suppliers and Procurement teams as needed.
  • Collaborate with Operations Analysts to address and resolve purchase order inquiries.
  • Help refine and develop procedures and processes to enhance expenditure oversight, purchasing discipline, and overall purchase-to-pay efficiency.

  • Subject matter expertise in purchase-to-pay and accounts payable processes to educate and support stakeholders.
  • Innovation mindset focused on suggesting improvements and developing new process documentation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), TEAMS, and familiar with ARIBA purchasing and SAP ERP systems.

Scope of Duties

  • Manage and regularly update the Purchase Request Form process ensuring completeness and accuracy, returning incomplete forms for correction.
  • Initiate purchase requisitions consistent with priority and authorization protocols, liaising with operations and validating required supporting information.
  • Monitor and update purchase order status throughout the procurement lifecycle until complete closure.
  • Function as primary coordinator for resolving invoice holds and payment concerns.
  • Submit Vendor Maintenance Forms to guarantee suppliers’ inclusion in ARIBA for uninterrupted service and goods procurement.
  • Assist with ad-hoc requisition queries via supplier and procurement team collaboration.
  • Drive continuous improvements in expenditure management and purchasing efficiency in partnership with Global Business Solutions and key stakeholders.
  • Support operations analysts with purchase order query resolution.
