Role overview
Join The Walt Disney Company in Richmond, Victoria as a Publicity Coordinator supporting publicity activity for Disney, Pixar and National Geographic releases. You will also assist with campaigns for other studio labels such as 20th Century Studios and Searchlight Pictures when needed. The role suits someone who is adaptable, imaginative, highly organized and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities.

Key responsibilities
- Maintain media lists and handle routine enquiries from the press.
- Support publicity work for theatrical and streaming launches, including activity with influencers and creators.
- Prepare polished presentations and slide decks for campaign updates shared with the wider Studio & Franchise Marketing team.
- Help organize local publicity tours, premieres and press events.
- Coordinate media screenings by booking venues, sending invitations, managing RSVPs, attending events and gathering feedback from attendees.
- Provide daily administrative support to the Publicity team, including meeting coordination, travel and accommodation arrangements, purchase order creation, reporting and budget tracking.
Ideal experience and capabilities
- Background in film, entertainment, public relations, media or a similar field.
- Knowledge of budget management.
- Strong skills in MS and Apple tools, along with the ability to build engaging presentations.
- Comfort working across multiple tasks in a team setting with frequent deadline changes and tight budget limits.
- Clear, confident written and spoken communication skills and a genuine willingness to learn.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive problem-solving ability with a broader view of potential impacts and issues.
