Public Relations Officer (PRO) - UAE National

Jones Engineering is seeking a dedicated Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage all government-related processes, visa administration, licensing, and compliance matters within the UAE. This role is crucial for ensuring the organization operates smoothly and legally within the Emirates. The PRO will report directly to the Regional HR Manager and will be instrumental in maintaining compliance with all relevant UAE laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and process all UAE employment visas, residence permits, Emirates ID applications, medical tests, labor cards, and work permits.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of visa applications, including renewals, cancellations, status changes, and amendments for both employees and their dependents.
  • Act as the primary liaison with key government entities such as MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP, Dubai Courts, Police, and Immigration departments.
  • Ensure the timely renewal of essential documents including visas, trade licenses, establishment cards, and labor files.
  • Coordinate the renewal, amendment, and approval processes for company trade licenses.
  • Manage company establishment cards, immigration files, labor quotas, and all necessary company registrations.
  • Guarantee adherence to all UAE labor laws, immigration regulations, and local governmental rules.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date repository of all licenses, permits, and legal documentation.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees regarding visa-related inquiries and official documentation requirements.
  • Facilitate the government-related aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Handle the processing of family visas and dependent sponsorships as required.
  • Assist the HR department during audits, inspections, and government compliance checks.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships with government officials and external typing centers.
  • Proactively track the status of all applications, ensuring follow-ups to prevent delays or potential penalties.
  • Represent the company professionally during any government visits or inspections.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation and effective record management for all PRO-related activities.

Requirements

  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of UAE immigration policies, labor laws, and governmental procedures.
  • Demonstrate practical experience with government portals such as MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP, Free Zone systems, and Tasheel/AMER.
  • Exhibit strong organizational capabilities and effective time management skills.
  • Possess excellent communication and coordination abilities to interact with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate the capacity to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Exhibit a keen attention to detail and robust problem-solving skills.

Additional Information

This role requires the candidate to be a UAE National and possess a family book. A valid UAE driving license is preferred.
