Job description
Role Summary
The Public Relations Officer will be responsible for conducting government-related tasks efficiently and within defined timelines by maintaining close communication with government and semi-government regulatory bodies. This role involves providing regular updates to the Lead – Government Relations.
Role Description
- Oversee the timely renewal of all company licenses.
- Manage the processing of employment visas, residency permits, labor cards, and their subsequent renewals.
- Act as a liaison between the company and various government authorities and relevant departments.
- Handle the renewal of company licenses and essential documents across all seven emirates.
- Ensure strict adherence to all UAE labor and immigration regulations.
- Facilitate the submission and retrieval of official documents from government offices and typing centers.
- Prepare and submit accurate documentation for the acquisition of new licenses as needed.
- Support the processing of visit visas.
- Represent the company at various official locations including Police Stations, Airports, Embassies, Ministries, Municipalities, and other significant government departments as required by the services.
- Collaborate closely with the HR and Accounts departments, as well as government organizations, for visa processing, cancellations, and other employee-related procedures.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with ministries and other government offices.
- Provide administrative support to the team as necessary.
- Offer guidance and support to internal stakeholders regarding the policies and procedures of government and semi-government organizations.
- Deliver consistent updates to the Lead – Government Relations.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess 3-5 years of pertinent professional experience.
- Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven capacity to thrive in a multicultural workplace.
- Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of UAE labor law, visa processing protocols, and government online portals.
- Hold a valid UAE driving license.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
