About the Opportunity
This role is for a proactive HR Manager who can lead people operations during a period of rapid expansion. The position is hands-on and generalist in nature, with ownership of the employee journey from hire to exit. You will work closely with leadership to create scalable HR processes and deliver a strong employee experience.
Key Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in human resources, including at least 2 years working as a generalist across multiple HR functions
- Solid knowledge of employment laws in California and Arizona is mandatory
- Experience with Rippling HRIS is preferred
- Background in a fast-growing company or startup environment is preferred
- Must be available for full-time work during Pacific Time Zone business hours
- Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries is strongly preferred
- A bachelor’s degree or similar practical experience is required; HR certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP are an added advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with careful handling of confidential information, are essential
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee compliance and payroll operations across multiple states, manage end-to-end payroll in Rippling, and keep records organized and audit-ready
- Lead recruiting activities from writing job descriptions through to offer management and onboarding
- Support employee experience initiatives by handling benefits administration, building engagement programs, and encouraging professional growth
- Act as the main HR advisor to managers by coaching them on performance management and policy-related matters
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this role ranges from USD 65,000 to USD 75,000 annually. In addition, the company provides health coverage, a 401(k) plan, generous paid time off, and a remote-first working environment.
