About the Role
Kovert Creative is hiring a full-time Public Relations Assistant to support multiple publicists from its Los Angeles office. This role requires 1-2 years of relevant work experience and a keen eye for detail in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate within Talent and Programming teams, managing and prioritizing multiple concurrent assignments.
- Organize meetings, oversee talent schedules, and prepare client press memos.
- Arrange logistics for client interviews, photoshoots, press junkets, premieres, appearances, including travel arrangements and glam services.
- Monitor media coverage and deliver press clips to clients.
- Maintain and update digital press kits and client biographies.
- Refresh and expand lists of industry contacts and media outlets across various genres, locations, and verticals.
- Support pitching initiatives, distribute media notices, assist with drafting press releases, and contribute to client strategic planning.
- Demonstrate professionalism in a high-volume, client-facing environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of experience in public relations, agencies, studios, or networks.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to perform well under pressure with a positive, proactive approach.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic setting.
- Creative problem-solving skills and capability to juggle several projects to meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and familiarity with pop culture trends.
- Willingness to work onsite in Century City, CA three days per week, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
- Availability to work nights and weekends for events when necessary.
