Job description
Role Overview
South Coast Winery Resort & Spa is hiring a Public Area Attendant for the Housekeeping Department. This role helps keep shared guest-facing spaces clean, organized, and welcoming throughout the property.
Key Duties
- Maintain cleanliness in all common guest areas, including the lobby, restrooms, and hallways.
- Share guest requests with the correct supervisor quickly and in a professional manner.
- Carry out assigned cleaning work in public spaces, such as vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, cleaning glass, and spot-cleaning carpets.
- Keep public-area amenities stocked at appropriate levels.
- Report maintenance concerns and any cleanliness issues in public areas and offices without delay.
- Keep storage areas neat and organized, and escalate any shortages, defects, or other problems.
- Follow safety procedures at all times to protect yourself and others, including proper use of powered cleaning equipment.
- Support additional duties as assigned, including cross-training when needed.
Compensation
The position pays $16.90 per hour.
