Its team includes more than 5,500 specialists with diverse interests and expertise, all working toward the shared goal of defending the world from cyber threats.

Role Overview

The company is looking for a Public Affairs Manager for the META region with a focus on Government Relations. This position calls for a strong grasp of evolving policy developments in technology, data, and cybersecurity, along with the ability to align public affairs work with business priorities and collaborate with both internal teams and outside stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement government affairs strategies across the META region.
  • Take ownership of the GR function in assigned countries and represent the organization in senior-level external meetings.
  • Provide government relations support for business operations in additional countries when needed.
  • Build and sustain connections with policymakers and institutions involved in cybersecurity policy, including ministries, parliaments, associations, and other organizations.
  • Advise company leadership on policy-related matters and emerging developments.
  • Track policy changes across markets and prepare analytical, insight-led reports for internal audiences.
  • Contribute to the company’s external positioning on legislative topics such as cybersecurity, IoT, Industry 4.0, critical infrastructure protection, data protection, and AI regulation by drafting policy papers and official submissions.
  • Represent the company in forums and events, and work with public bodies, industry groups, and partners to identify shared priorities and build joint initiatives.
  • Support the company’s thought leadership agenda through relevant public affairs activities.
  • Guide the organization on regulatory navigation and global policy shifts while weighing trade-offs and supporting decision-making.
  • Help drive participation in major cybersecurity awareness programs and public-private collaboration efforts.
  • Assist with leadership visits, high-level engagements, stakeholder meetings, and public consultations by presenting the company’s positions.
  • Carry out other related assignments and projects as reasonably requested.

Requirements

  • 6 to 10 years of relevant experience gained in a technology company, think tank, public affairs consultancy, or government environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in law, international relations, information technology, or public policy; a master’s degree would be an added advantage.
  • Proven project management ability for coordinating responses across multiple functions.
  • Comfort working in cross-functional teams spread across global locations.
  • Strong intercultural communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders from different regions.
  • Excellent written communication and persuasive writing capability.
  • Practical knowledge of cybersecurity and data policy and the ability to apply it in public affairs work.
  • Professional fluency in English and Arabic.

Hiring Process

The recruitment process is expected to last about 3 to 4 weeks and generally includes a CV screening, an HR conversation with a headquarters recruiter, a final discussion with the hiring team, and then an offer stage.
