About the Role
Sunbeam World School Society is seeking a dedicated Psychology Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) to join its Psychology / Humanities Department. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology with at least 50% marks from a recognized university, along with a B.Ed. qualification. Preference will be given to applicants possessing CTET/STET certification and having prior experience teaching senior secondary students.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Psychology lessons for Classes XI and XII adhering to CBSE or State Board curriculum standards.
- Create comprehensive lesson plans, develop assignments, design question papers, and prepare study resources.
- Organize and supervise practical exercises, projects, and student assessments.
- Track student academic progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning.
- Manage classroom discipline and foster an interactive and motivating educational atmosphere.
- Assist students with career guidance and promote awareness of psychological concepts.
- Engage actively in school activities including meetings, workshops, seminars, and extracurricular programs.
- Maintain detailed records encompassing attendance, evaluations, and student progress documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from an accredited university.
- Completion of a B.Ed. degree from a recognized institute is mandatory.
- CTET or STET certification is an advantageous qualification.
- Preferably 1 to 3 years of experience teaching Psychology at the senior secondary level.
- Fresh graduates with good subject mastery and communication abilities may also be considered.
Compensation
The monthly salary for this position ranges from INR 24,500 to INR 28,500.
