About the Role
This position sits within KBR’s PSAB program, which delivers base operating support and installation services at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. The work supports the 378th Air Expeditionary Wing, mission partners, tenant units, transient and temporary duty personnel, permanent party staff, rotational personnel, and five remote Army locations connected to the base.
Role Overview
The Lodging Lead is responsible for running the lodging program and coordinating day-to-day accommodation operations. This includes tracking personnel accountability, checking occupancy, reporting reserved and occupied rooms, overseeing transient spaces, using CQMAP or a similar automated system to manage bed and room usage, handling front-desk activity, coordinating with PERSCO when needed, maintaining lodging supply and furniture inventories, passing shift information between teams, and preparing plans around the major rotation periods in April and October. The role also involves working with Unit Lodging Representatives and managing all personnel assigned to lodging, including other country national staff.
Key Duties
- Assign rooms in line with AFCENT and local rules, including grade- and gender-based requirements.
- Work as part of a joint team and coordinate closely with deployed U.S. forces, Saudi counterparts, and other team members as required.
- Process arrivals and departures using CQMAP or an equivalent tracking system for nearly all transactions.
- Perform occupancy inspections of lodging facilities and vacant rooms or beds, including spaces expected to be vacated the previous day, and report occupancy status to KBR management.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Work Tools and Equipment
The role may require the use of hard hats, gloves, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, safety glasses, and other protective gear. It may also involve pushing, pulling, or lifting heavy equipment. Regular use of land mobile radios, mobile phones, laptops, and similar devices is expected to keep work activities coordinated and accountable.
Working Conditions
Work may take place indoors or outdoors and can involve exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, and chemicals. Overtime, shift work, and occasional to frequent travel may be required based on contract needs. The employee must follow all applicable federal, state, local, and company rules and instructions. Task-specific environment training may be provided. The role must be performed in a wartime or contingency setting in support of U.S. interests.
Physical Requirements
The job can involve lifting up to 35 lb, team lifting up to 50 lb, climbing, extended sitting or standing, stooping, stretching, and bending. Daily work may also include routine office tasks such as prolonged sitting or standing, keyboard and mouse use, attending meetings, and carrying loads under 20 lb frequently. Moderate physical effort is required, including walking to operating areas and climbing stairs.
Basic Qualifications
Candidates should have a high school diploma plus two years of continued education. At least one year of customer service experience is required. Applicants must be U.S. citizens with a current U.S. driver’s license, hold a passport book with at least 13 months of validity remaining and at least six blank visa or stamp pages, maintain a valid U.S. SECRET security clearance, speak, read, write, and understand English fluently, and meet CENTCOM MOD-15 theater requirements.
Preferred Experience
Prior billeting or lodging experience is preferred.
