Job description
Overview
This position is part of the Asset Management team responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of housing stock in Preston. You will work full-time, 37 hours weekly, and earn a salary of 25,948.89 annually ( 13.45 per hour).
Key Duties
- Treat emergency cases of dampness and mould in tenant residences by cleaning affected areas and applying anti-mould treatments to ensure safety.
- Remove furniture, appliances, and refuse from vacant homes to prepare them for new tenants.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in properties ready for re-letting.

Applicants should be team-oriented individuals who prioritize tenant welfare, embrace health and safety protocols thoroughly, and take pride in delivering excellent workmanship and attention to detail.
Main Requirements
- Possession of a full manual driving license, enabling travel across Preston’s communities.
- Previous experience in a comparable role, including adherence to risk assessments and method statements.
- Capability to perform manual handling tasks such as removing furniture and appliances safely.
- Competent IT skills to use scheduling systems effectively.
- Strong focus on accurate, high-quality cleaning and safety standards.
