About the Role
We are currently seeking an In-Store Promoter specializing in the Non-Consumer Durable (Non-CD) category for Pine Labs. The primary responsibility is to ensure merchants in the assigned geographic area consistently meet targeted Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) by actively driving transactions using Pine Labs' payment and affordability solutions. Building robust merchant relationships to establish Pine Labs as the preferred payment and EMI solution provider within the assigned network is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular visits to assigned merchants as per scheduled plans and provide daily reports of activities.
- Develop and maintain strong connections with merchants to encourage transaction growth and enhance merchant engagement.
- Provide training to merchants and their teams on Pine Labs' Point of Sale (POS) devices, EMI options, QR code solutions, and other payment products.
- Meet set goals for activation, transaction numbers, and GMV.
- Promote and support marketing campaigns, special offers, and affordability programs launched by Pine Labs and its bank or brand partners.
- Address merchant concerns by liaising with internal departments to deliver timely resolutions.
- Collect market data, insights about competitors, and customer feedback to uncover new growth opportunities.
- Maintain high levels of merchant satisfaction and ensure regular use of Pine Labs solutions within the designated area.
Required Experience and Skills
- At least one year of field sales experience in Merchant Acquiring, Merchant Relationship Management, or Sales/Farming roles within Fintech, Banking, Telecom, Payments, or FMCG General Trade sectors.
- Experience managing portfolios of Non-CD merchants such as grocery stores, pharmacies, apparel outlets, restaurants, supermarkets, lifestyle stores, and other retail locations.
- Proven track record in driving sales and increasing transaction volumes.
- Highly motivated with a willingness to learn, adapt, and excel in a target-driven setting.
- Capable of traveling extensively within the assigned territory (approximately 12–15 days monthly) for merchant visits.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and other productivity software.
- Comfortable operating smartphones for business purposes.
- Possession of a valid driving license and ownership of a two-wheeler vehicle.
