Role overview
Business Review Group is looking for an accomplished Project Support Officer to assist a significant Defence capability initiative in Adelaide. The role sits within a demanding, tightly controlled environment and focuses on helping the program run smoothly through strong coordination, administration, reporting and governance support.
You will partner with project managers and senior stakeholders to keep day-to-day activities on track, maintain reliable project records and documentation, and support the delivery of program objectives. This position would suit someone with experience in project support, project coordination or program support, especially within Defence, government or other large-scale project settings.
What you'll be doing
- Deliver coordination and administrative assistance across a complex program of work.
- Work alongside project managers and senior team members to keep project records, documents and information accurate and up to date.
- Help organise project activities and support the handling of data, reporting inputs and related project information.
- Contribute to the smooth running of daily project operations, including governance and reporting tasks.
- Protect the accuracy and integrity of all project documentation and records.
- Assist with project assurance activities through detailed record maintenance and data tracking.
- Follow established project management frameworks, processes and templates.
- Support audits, reviews and information requests when needed.
- Help coordinate governance and reporting requirements across the wider program team.
Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will bring experience in a similar project support, coordination or program support role, along with strong administrative capability and a high level of attention to detail. You should be comfortable managing project documents, registers and records, and supporting reporting, assurance and governance activities. The role also calls for strong organisational ability, confidence juggling competing priorities, effective collaboration in multidisciplinary teams, and clear written and verbal communication. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools is also required.
