Key Responsibilities

• Establish project scope, objectives, deliverables, and key success indicators for WMS and supply chain initiatives.
• Create detailed project schedules, track timelines, and control budgets effectively.
• Collaborate with IT, operations, procurement, logistics, and external partners to guarantee alignment across teams.
• Track project progress, identify and manage risks, and address issues promptly.
• Lead the creation, validation, and rollout of new WMS functionalities and modules.
• Convert warehouse and business requirements into technical system specifications.
• Ensure seamless integration between WMS and related systems such as ERP, transportation, e-commerce platforms, and last-mile delivery solutions.
• Optimize systems to improve inventory accuracy, picking processes, and real-time operational insights.
• Act as the principal liaison for technical teams, warehouse staff, and senior management.
• Coordinate cross-departmental efforts involving IT, operations, procurement, finance, and customer service.
• Oversee vendor relationships including software suppliers, third-party logistics providers, and automation vendors.
• Provide regular reports on project status, potential risks, and return on investment to leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven project management experience, with certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile considered advantageous.
• Extensive knowledge of prominent WMS platforms such as Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Oracle, SAP EWM, Infor, or tailored systems.
• Experience managing supply chain processes including inbound logistics, warehouse operations, outbound shipping, and last-mile delivery.
• Strong analytical capabilities paired with effective problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management expertise.

Additional Advantageous Skills

• Competence in data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with inventory control and process optimization techniques.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
