About the Opportunity

A leading organization is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their team, overseeing commercial construction projects across the Midwest. This role provides a chance to manage projects from the initial award phase through to completion while contributing to a reputable and expanding company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple commercial construction projects concurrently.
  • Create and manage project schedules, ensuring timely coordination of activities.
  • Track and control project budgets and financial metrics.
  • Coordinate efforts with subcontractors and suppliers effectively.
  • Review and validate project documentation and contractual agreements.
  • Lead meetings involving owners and subcontractors to maintain alignment.
  • Handle change orders, Requests for Information (RFIs), and submittal processes diligently.
  • Ensure all work complies with established quality and safety standards.
  • Provide regular project status updates to company leadership and clients.
  • Support and complete tasks related to project closeouts.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years' experience in commercial construction.
  • Proven track record managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
  • Experience overseeing budgets and schedules.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills for efficient project handling.
  • Familiarity with construction management software is advantageous.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office suite.
  • A cooperative, team-focused work approach.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

  • Experience using Procore construction software platform.
  • Background in ground-up construction projects.
  • Exposure to industrial or commercial construction environments.
  • Certification in OSHA safety standards is a plus.
