Job description
Overview
This role is for a Project Manager focused on medical devices, responsible for guiding product and project execution across the full life cycle. The position calls for delivery of agreed scope, budget, schedule, and quality targets, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee medical device projects and product life cycle management to ensure planned scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards are met.
- Drive timely, high-quality deliverables that support a strong customer experience.
- Lead projects and programs from initial definition through clinical evaluation and/or launch.
- Set operational objectives for the team, build schedules and timelines, and manage the budget needed to achieve those goals.
- Prioritize tasks across workstreams and owners to keep execution aligned and efficient.
- Handle technology development and new therapy development challenges associated with innovative medical solutions.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional stakeholders around the world, including R&D, DA, PD, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Quality teams.
- Serve as the communication bridge for the team and senior leadership, and conduct phase reviews, business reviews, core team meetings, and other important program discussions.
- Track budgets and resources carefully, and support estimation of budget and resource requirements when needed.
Requirements
- PMP certification is required.
- Strong experience in project management within the medical devices domain.
- Ability to manage product life cycle activities and coordinate multiple stakeholders across functions.
- Capability to work through complex technology-development and new-therapy challenges.
- Solid communication, planning, prioritization, and budget-management skills.
