Project Manager

About the Role

We seek an energetic and highly organized individual to oversee and lead strategic projects in a dynamic, government-affiliated setting. This role involves close collaboration with senior leadership and diverse stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex strategic projects from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery.
• Oversee project planning, execution, governance, budgeting, risk mitigation, and progress reporting.
• Provide comprehensive updates, articulate risks, and offer recommendations directly to executive and C-suite leadership.
• Coordinate efforts among multiple entities including partners, consultants, and vendors to drive project success.
• Develop and uphold standards for project management, including governance frameworks and quality controls.
• Lead and mentor teams, allocating resources across several simultaneous initiatives.
• Administer procurement activities and monitor the performance of vendors and consultants.
• Continuously enhance project delivery processes to strengthen a high-performing project management function.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 8 to 10+ years’ experience managing large-scale, high-impact projects or programmes.
• Background includes senior roles at top-tier management consulting firms (MBB) or equivalent positions within government or government-affiliated organizations.
• Deep knowledge of Abu Dhabi’s government and institutional environment is essential.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and engage multiple stakeholders.
• Strong presentation skills for executive-level communication and influencing strategic decisions.
• Degree in Business, Economics, or related fields from a respected university; advanced degrees preferred.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certifications considered a valuable asset.
