Project Manager - Interior Fit-Out (Commercial Office Spaces)

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Interior Fit-Out Project Manager to oversee the execution of upscale commercial office interior projects. The right candidate will have proven success handling premium corporate office fit-outs from initial concept through to project handover, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, budget, and timeline requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full project lifecycle from site possession to final delivery.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, resource utilization plans, and strategies for execution.
• Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, MEP teams, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Review construction drawings, Bills of Quantities, specifications, and planned execution methods.
• Ensure work complies with approved drawings, quality benchmarks, and project specifications.
• Track costs, material usage, labor productivity, and manage cash flow.
• Conduct frequent site inspections to address technical or execution issues.
• Lead procurement planning to ensure timely material delivery, including long-lead items.
• Organize client meetings, generate progress reports, and maintain project documentation.
• Implement strict compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations.
• Proactively identify risks and apply mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate snagging, testing, commissioning, punch-list closure, and handover.
• Guide and mentor site engineers and project teams to achieve operational excellence.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or Construction Management.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is advantageous.
• At least 2 years managing commercial interior fit-out projects with a total experience of 1-5 years.
• Proven success managing premium corporate office interiors, IT offices, multinational corporate spaces, coworking environments, or similar commercial interiors.
• Experience handling project budgets ranging from ₹1 crore to ₹3 crore is preferred.

Technical Expertise

• In-depth knowledge of commercial fit-out construction processes.
• Expertise in MEP coordination.
• Proficient with gypsum installations, flooring, ceilings, partitions, glazing, furniture, finishes, and joinery.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings accurately.
• Experienced with project planning software like Microsoft Project or Primavera.
• Strong command of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools.
• Understanding of quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) procedures and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
