About the Role
This position is with an international semiconductor company based in Hamburg, Germany. The Project Manager will lead and oversee research and innovation initiatives focused on 6G and Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate 6G and NTN research and development projects, ensuring alignment with objectives.
- Collaborate actively with external partners, research organizations, and consortium members.
- Organize and facilitate workshops, representing the company in joint projects.
- Monitor and manage project timelines, budgets, contractual commitments, and allocation of resources.
- Compile detailed project status reports for both management and funding agencies.
- Partner with business and marketing teams to develop technology demonstrators.
- Provide insights on market trends and technical findings from research efforts to inform product development strategies.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of project management experience, particularly within R&D or telecommunications projects.
- Strong knowledge of 5G, 6G, NTN, and satellite communication technologies.
- Understanding of the telecommunications sector, including standardization processes and emerging 6G trends.
- Proven ability to manage projects involving multiple stakeholders and deliver on defined work packages.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Skill in bridging technical topics and project execution demands.
