Role overview
Al Mana Holding is seeking an experienced Project Manager based in Qatar to take charge of a government-approved facility focused on food waste recycling and bioplastic production. The role covers the full journey from project launch through execution and final commissioning of the plant in Doha.
The position sits within the sustainability, bioplastics, and food waste recycling space and requires someone who can coordinate a complex industrial project, work closely with government and technical stakeholders, and help bring a landmark environmental initiative into operation.
What you will do
- Oversee project scope, delivery schedules, and allocation of resources across the initiative.
- Manage the commissioning phase and make sure the handover from construction to operations runs smoothly.
- Coordinate with ministries, contractors, leadership, and consultants to keep the project aligned and moving forward.
- Ensure all work meets environmental, technical, and regulatory expectations.
- Guide, organize, and support a cross-functional team working on the project.
What we are looking for
- A degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in industrial project management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working on commissioning for large-scale facilities.
- Prior exposure to waste management or bioplastics projects is preferred.
- PMP certification, or an equivalent project management credential, will be considered an advantage.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Previous GCC experience is beneficial.
