Directed Content Team

The Directed Content team is a vital part of the Expert Insights group, generating thousands of interviews each quarter focused on high-value strategic subjects to build the Expert Transcript Library. The team identifies, recruits, and onboards top experts globally, ensuring interviews are high-quality and relevant to client needs.

Role Overview

Under the Sector Lead for Directed Content, the Project Manager serves as the core coordinator for healthcare-focused research initiatives guiding Analysts’ work. The role requires defining project scopes and research angles, leveraging insights from Directors of Research, feedback from Client Contributors, user engagement analytics, and AlphaSense platform data to select expert profiles most pertinent to client interests. You will oversee Analysts’ productivity, coach their sourcing methods, and ensure the team's outputs meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the Healthcare sector, maintaining deep sector knowledge of industry trends, companies, regulatory changes, and investment themes.
• Plan and manage research projects addressing client demand and sector priorities within the Healthcare space.
• Define research focus, expert criteria, and evaluation questions to ensure top-tier project outcomes.
• Review and approve expert profiles, providing feedback to sustain a high-quality expert network.
• Lead and coordinate Analyst teams through regular meetings, workload monitoring, and progress tracking.
• Ensure operational excellence by overseeing project activities including scheduling, compliance, expert engagement, and performance metrics.
• Coach and mentor Analysts to enhance sourcing quality and execution effectiveness.
• Collaborate across functions with Directors of Research, Sector Leads, Client Contributors, and Contributor Relations to align on client needs and explore new opportunities.
• Continuously build sector expertise by enhancing knowledge resources and supporting team onboarding and development.
