Job description

About the Role

This role sits within Integrity Operations and supports Meta’s efforts to keep its communities safer by strengthening support systems, education, and operational care across its products. The team focuses on preventing harm online and offline by building scalable responses to safety-related incidents and partnering across functions to improve processes and product outcomes.

As a Project Manager in Content and Integrity Operations, you will help improve product health and user understanding through direct operational support and scalable solutions. The position requires close collaboration with teams across Security, Engineering, Policy, Legal, Trust and Safety, and vendor operations in a fast-moving, data-led environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead projects that combine quantitative analysis, market or industry research, and strategy work to support process, policy, and product improvements.
  • Coordinate with global cross-functional partners to deliver better community experiences and operational outcomes.
  • Oversee daily operations against quality and efficiency goals while adapting to changing priorities.
  • Review data to spot user patterns and harmful behavior, then turn findings into practical operational recommendations.
  • Solve complex business challenges using structured problem-solving approaches.
  • Investigate and help resolve escalated cases involving abusive content or real-world threats.
  • Contribute to building scalable policies and processes that improve safety and reduce risk at scale.
  • Strengthen collaboration across teams to design more effective solutions for users and communities.
  • Work with sensitive content such as graphic imagery, videos, writing, offensive language, and other objectionable material.
  • Handle exposure to disturbing material, including child exploitation, graphic violence, self-injury, animal abuse, and similar content.
  • Deepen understanding of content integrity issues and their effect on the community.
  • Monitor milestones, deliverables, and timelines across several integrity initiatives, escalating blockers when needed.
  • Compile operational findings and reports to surface trends, reveal process gaps, and support leadership updates.
  • Align workflow and process changes with policy, legal, trust and safety, and vendor operations stakeholders.

Experience and Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in operations, technology, management consulting, or a similar environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a strategic or analytical role such as project management, consulting, data analysis, technical systems, or customer operations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and engineering audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage projects end to end across multiple stakeholders and functions.
  • Experience making data-driven decisions on content or operational matters, including documenting trade-offs and reasoning clearly.
  • Ability to stay composed and effective under pressure while working with potentially graphic or objectionable material.

Preferred Background

  • Familiarity with Meta products and community features.
  • At least 1 year of experience using data tools such as SQL, SAS, or visualization platforms like Tableau.
  • Background in content integrity, trust and safety, or online exploitation mitigation, including familiarity with child safety or non-consensual content policy areas.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analysis, and creative problem-solving ability.
  • Exposure to programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience with content review workflows, escalation frameworks, or vendor management in a scaled operations setting.
  • Familiarity with process documentation methods and continuous improvement practices in operations.
