Project Manager

Overview

This is a contract Project Manager opportunity in Germany, supporting an international programme. The role sits within a software and IT delivery environment and focuses on consulting, planning, execution, and oversight of complex technical projects.

What you will do

• Evaluate current systems, applications, and architectures, and judge how well they align with the target architecture.
• Create user-focused web applications built on cloud technologies.
• Define effective interfaces between applications and business processes.
• Develop user-oriented web solutions using cloud platforms.
• Convert design concepts into development-ready input for prototype delivery and advise on technical implementation details.
• Build database structures and connect databases with systems to support documentation and informed decision-making.
• Test and troubleshoot software applications so they meet the required quality standards.
• Prepare technical documentation covering the development lifecycle.
• Produce and hand over both operations and development manuals.

What you need

• Hands-on project management experience covering consulting, planning, delivery, and monitoring of complex software and IT projects.
• Working knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Understanding of German energy supply companies and the regulatory framework of the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA).
• Experience with risk management, including identifying, assessing, recording, and tracking functional and technical project risks.
• Experience designing, planning, and facilitating co-creation workshops with multidisciplinary stakeholders to shape functional and technical solutions collaboratively.
