Role Overview

The company is looking for a meticulous and proactive Project Management Officer / project manager assistant to assist the project management team in delivering projects successfully, within schedule and budget. The role combines administrative and operational coordination work with exposure to project management practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for ongoing projects.
  • Organize and maintain project records such as plans, progress reports, and meeting notes.
  • Arrange project meetings, prepare agendas, and circulate the required materials.
  • Monitor milestones, deliverables, and deadlines with project management systems or tools.
  • Assist with risk management by updating risk logs and tracking follow-up actions.
  • Prepare, refine, and keep up to date project presentations and communication documents.
  • Promote clear communication and regular updates across the project team.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a closely related discipline is required.
  • Five to seven years of experience in administrative support or project support is preferred.
  • Three to four years of IT project management experience in the financial sector is required.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong planning and coordination abilities with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Effective written and spoken communication skills.
  • Comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
