Project Management Office (PMO) Lead

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned professional to establish, lead, and continuously improve the Project Management Office (PMO). The successful candidate will drive the execution of strategic projects that align with the organization's goals and priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and administrate the PMO while enforcing project governance throughout the organization.
• Ensure that all projects and programs align with corporate strategies and business goals.
• Create and maintain project management methodologies, standards, best practices, and frameworks.
• Manage the overall project portfolio, prioritize initiatives, and optimize the distribution and use of resources.
• Track and evaluate project progress, budget adherence, scheduling, and quality requirements.
• Identify potential risks across projects and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
• Prepare comprehensive executive dashboards, KPI reports, and updates for senior leadership review.
• Engage with stakeholders and executive teams to facilitate informed decision-making processes.
• Champion change management efforts and promote continuous process improvements within the organization.
• Coach and mentor project managers and teams to enhance project management capabilities and organizational maturity.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in project management, including leadership roles overseeing PMOs and strategic corporate initiatives.
• Strong expertise in project governance, portfolio oversight, and organizational transformation.
• Demonstrated success managing complex and cross-functional projects and programs.
• Exceptional leadership abilities, stakeholder engagement skills, and communication proficiency.

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Program Management Professional (PgMP)
• PMI PMO Certified Professional (PMI-PMOCP) or equivalent
• PRINCE2 Certification
• Agile and Scrum certifications
