About SAMI Land
SAMI Land is a specialized subsidiary of Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), fully owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF). The company aims to localize and enhance Saudi Arabia's land defense capabilities, aligning with Vision 2030's objective to localize over 50% of military expenditure. Operating from the MENA region's largest integrated defense facility, an 82,000 m² Industry 4.0 complex, SAMI Land focuses on the design, localized production, integration, and maintenance of military land platforms such as armored vehicles, tactical trucks, artillery systems, and remote weapon stations to support the Saudi Armed Forces.
Position Purpose
This co-op role offers students an entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing large-scale defense projects. Selected interns will assist the Project Management Office (PMO) by helping with daily coordination, documentation, and project administration, fostering an understanding of PMO workflows and project management best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and organizing essential project documents, including status reports, meeting notes, and tracking sheets.
- Support coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date project records and documentation.
Eligibility and Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering (preferably Industrial or Mechanical), Information Management Systems, or related disciplines.
- Enrollment in a co-op program with an official co-op letter from the university is mandatory.
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.75 on a 5.00 scale or 2.75 on a 4.00 scale.
- Fulfill all university and program requirements necessary for co-op placement.
- Strong organizational and communication capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
