We are seeking an experienced Project Lead to oversee a pivotal initiative focused on shaping legal frameworks for advancing technologies. This full-time remote position requires a Juris Doctor degree and a proven history of steering complex legal projects within tech-centric environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Devise and apply legal strategies that align with project objectives and comply with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to guarantee legal adherence throughout product development phases.
- Lead efforts to evaluate and mitigate risks associated with technology-oriented legal issues.
- Prepare, assess, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and policy documents safeguarding company interests.
- Offer expert legal counsel on matters such as intellectual property rights, data privacy, and contractual commitments to relevant stakeholders.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a recognized academic institution.
- At least seven years of legal practice experience with a minimum of three years in a leadership capacity on projects.
- In-depth knowledge of technology-related laws including data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI governance.
- Expertise in drafting and negotiating sophisticated legal documents and contracts.
- Ability to effectively communicate legal principles into practical business strategies accessible to non-legal personnel.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving aptitude, and proficient communication skills.
- Familiarity with legal research software and regulatory compliance frameworks.
