About the Role

This position involves providing precise estimations for award-winning design-build commercial construction projects based in Virginia. The role is supported by a firm that prioritizes continuous professional growth and values community contribution.

Job Responsibilities

• Review and interpret architectural drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents to generate accurate estimates for labor, materials, time, and costs.
• Calculate expenses related to materials, equipment, subcontracted services, and labor across various commercial projects.
• Develop strategic procurement plans and cultivate robust relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Conduct Value Management exercises and prepare comprehensive budget estimates along with project timelines.

Candidate Requirements

• Preferred minimum of five years’ experience in commercial construction as a Project Estimator.
• Familiarity with Destiny (Beck Technology) Estimating Software is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational communication capabilities.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $115,000 annually.
