Role Overview
This position focuses on the installation, testing, commissioning, and system programming of security equipment aligned with Convergint's quality standards. The aim is to uphold superior engineering project quality while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities
- Install, test, commission, and program various security devices following company policies and standards.
- Oversee project execution to guarantee successful completion within set parameters.
- Provide technical support and collaborate with Sales and other departments as needed.
- Diagnose and address issues related to security systems promptly.
- Conduct on-site client training sessions to ensure proficient system use.
- Use AutoCAD software to design security layouts and produce building diagrams.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security technology and concepts.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in security, electronics, or small electronic project implementation and commissioning, preferably in a multinational company.
- Fundamental IT knowledge concerning security hardware, networks, and databases.
- Experience with access control systems, CCTV, and alarm security products/systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with Lenel, GE, Cisco, and S2 security systems is a significant advantage.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Quick learner with a dedicated client service mindset.
