About the Role

We are looking for an accomplished and seasoned professional to serve as Project Director or Programme Director for a prestigious project based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The exact job title and detailed duties will be finalized with candidates during the interview process by senior management.

The company specializes in comprehensive development disciplines including Development Management, Project Management, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Structural Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Masterplanning and Urban Design, Interior Design, MEP, Ground Engineering, Planning, and Site Supervision.

Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree in Project Management, Building Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • At least 20 years of substantial experience in project management roles, with increasing responsibility over time.
  • Experience managing significant scale projects relevant to the field.
  • Prior work experience in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
  • Active membership in a professional body relevant to the discipline is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated expertise managing luxury hotel, hospitality, or branded residential projects within Saudi Arabia.
  • Proven track record of overseeing entire projects from inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Project Execution Plan, directing the Project Management team to fulfill project management roles as outlined by company protocols.
  • Ensure the delivery of project management services meets both Mirage's expectations and high professional standards within project management.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for improving project delivery and integrate enhancements.
  • Oversee commercial project aspects, including consultant fees, claims, and payments.
  • Build and maintain confidence and trust in dealings with clients, key stakeholders, and operators.
  • Administer construction contracts and legally issue all correspondence as the authorized signatory.
  • Lead the project toward achieving quality, schedule, and budget objectives.
  • Conduct Value Engineering sessions to optimize project outcomes.
  • Hold regular progress reviews collaboratively with the Planning Manager.
