About the Role

Join the Bioeconomy Science Institute as a Project Delivery Manager located flexibly in New Zealand. This full-time permanent position involves steering the planning, coordination, and execution of complex infrastructure projects critical to enabling world-class scientific outcomes across the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the management and reporting of large-scale infrastructure initiatives that align with the strategic goals of the Bioeconomy Science Institute.
  • Oversee project scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk mitigation to secure successful project completions.
  • Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders, contractors, sponsors, and multifunctional teams to promote seamless project delivery.
  • Champion best practices in project governance, enhance reporting mechanisms, and foster continuous program and project improvements.

What You'll Bring

  • A formal project management certification such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, Agile, or an equivalent credential.
  • Substantial experience managing substantial complex projects, preferably in infrastructure, facilities, property, or related sectors.
  • Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement, communication, and influence, adept at navigating diverse teams and competing priorities.
  • Strong expertise in project governance, fiscal oversight, risk control, paired with analytical and problem-solving prowess.
