About the Role

The Project Coordinator works under the supervision of a manager or project manager to assist in various phases of projects including initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure. This role supports project schedules, budgets, cost tracking, status reporting, communication, information gathering, meeting coordination, issue resolution, and risk and resource management. The coordinator may also lead small or well-defined projects independently under the guidance of senior project management.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Medical Policy policies and standards.
  • Ensure project documentation complies with organizational standards and maintain a centralized project documentation repository.
  • Assist in project management activities aligned with Enterprise Project Management Office policies.
  • Support the development and upkeep of project and program plans including schedules, budgets, quality, resource allocation, communication, and risk management.
  • Help monitor and control project tasks execution relative to plans.
  • Track and manage project costs, issues, changes, resources, and risks.
  • Prepare and present status and other project reports to leadership, teams, and clients.
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings effectively.
  • Assist in monitoring quality assurance and reporting on deliverables.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies and development life cycle processes.
  • Capability to manage defined projects with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Project Management certification or training is advantageous.
  • Highly detail-oriented and able to work independently.
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in business, project management, healthcare, or a related field with a minimum of two years in project support, or comparable education and experience.
  • No required licenses or certifications.

Additional Information

  • This role is a 6-month contract position.
  • Work is remote but candidates must reside in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or Utah.
  • Availability during Pacific Time business hours is mandatory.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary.
