Project Coordinator - Civil Construction

About the Role

Join Maple Reinders Constructors as a Project Coordinator in their Civil construction division based in Bradford, Ontario. This position offers involvement in significant civil water and wastewater projects, supporting Project Managers in delivering heavy civil and industrial projects with a focus on budgeting, scheduling, estimating, and quality and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in heavy civil and industrial construction projects to support delivery goals.
• Assist in budgeting and construction schedule preparation, alongside organizing project administration files.
• Under guidance from the Project Manager, manage communication with Owners, Architects, Engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Learn supplier and subcontractor selection processes and coordinate quotation requests.
• Clarify and align the scope of work with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, realtors, and developers.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with site safety regulations and internal corporate health and safety policies.
• Attend site meetings and contribute to the resolution of project deficiencies.
• Support closing tenders in collaboration with senior management.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum one year of experience as a Project Coordinator within the construction sector.
• University degree or Technology diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent education and experience.
• Prior experience on water and wastewater projects is a strong advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience, paid weekly.
