Role Overview
Join as a Program Manager based in the UAE, contributing to ICEYE's Missions Line of Business. Reporting directly to the Program Director, this permanent position operates in a hybrid environment and requires security clearance as applicable.
Key Purpose
The role involves overseeing complex satellite mission programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring on-time execution, customer satisfaction, and scalable excellence. The Program Manager acts as the nexus between engineering, product, operations, and commercial teams, guaranteeing fulfillment of commitments and fostering strong customer partnerships. Frequent travel to Finland and client sites is expected.

Responsibilities
- Lead satellite mission program planning, execution, and delivery to meet all schedule, budget, quality, and performance targets.
- Establish and nurture strong customer relationships through proactive communication and dependable program execution.
- Create and sustain integrated program plans aligning stakeholders, resources, budgets, and milestones.
- Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and escalations to minimize delivery disruptions.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to enhance alignment, remove obstacles, and advance mission progress efficiently.
- Provide accurate program status reports, dashboards, and governance updates to support decision-making.
Candidate Profile
Required Experience and Skills:
- 5 to 10 years managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects in advanced technology sectors such as space, defense, telecom, automotive, or IT.
- Proven ability to engage with customers and manage senior stakeholders with diverse requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership of cross-disciplinary teams to achieve cohesive results.
- Expertise in full lifecycle program management including planning, execution, governance related to scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making aptitude, especially in uncertain scenarios.
- Effective communicator with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Degree in business, engineering, or a related domain.
- Eligibility to obtain UAE residency is essential.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with Earth Observation (EO), synthetic aperture radar (SAR), or remote sensing technologies.
- Background in developing complex systems or products.
- Familiarity with government or defense customers.
- Knowledge of hardware, software, or embedded systems development.
- Advanced education (Master’s) or certifications like PMP or PgMP.
