Job description

About the role

This role sits within Google Cloud’s Global Manufacturing Operations and focuses on driving procurement execution, supplier coordination, and supply chain program management. The position involves managing complex, cross-functional workstreams that connect internal teams, suppliers, and OEM partners to improve delivery performance, reduce costs, and strengthen operational efficiency. The work spans planning, escalation handling, analytics, process improvement, and issue resolution across multiple stakeholders.

Minimum qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of practical work experience.
  • At least 2 years of background in program management or project management.
  • Hands-on experience in supply chain management, procurement, cost negotiation, MRP investigations, and data analysis.

Preferred qualifications

  • MBA or a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field, ideally with supply chain emphasis.
  • Experience using spreadsheets, SQL, and scripting tools.
  • Exposure to forecasting, planning, supply chain operations, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Comfort working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across different organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and investigative ability.
  • Interest in automation and operational efficiency improvements.

What you’ll do

  • Run procurement workflows that are timely and cost-effective while coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Design and expand spend analytics capabilities, using advanced analysis to support leadership alignment and improve day-to-day execution. Improve value through better pricing, alternate sourcing options, and procurement process refinements.
  • Lead supplier and OEM escalation management for pricing, lead-time, and supply shortages. Handle RFQs, order releases, delivery tracking to the hub, late-delivery analysis, and invoice issue resolution.
  • Support ongoing improvement in planning root-cause analysis and MRP investigation, with an emphasis on better delivery performance, fewer overdue orders, stronger shortage management, cleaner invoicing, and healthier supplier outcomes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional program work needed for supplier onboarding and procurement execution with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

The employer provides equal employment opportunity and maintains an affirmative action approach. Hiring decisions are made without regard to race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or veteran status.
