Job Overview
If you prefer an active workplace instead of sitting at a desk, this role is designed for you. We seek a versatile, hands-on individual capable of assembling, testing, picking, and packing. This hybrid position involves working in both production and warehouse tasks, offering a diverse daily workload focused on sling and rope manufacturing as well as warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture, assemble, and test lifting, rigging, and safety equipment.
- Operate production machinery such as hydraulic presses and chain cutters.
- Accurately review and follow production orders and procedures.
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming warehouse goods.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders with accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with stocktakes and maintain inventory control.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or trade industries.
- Familiarity with tools, machinery, or assembly tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Practical, hands-on skills.
- Forklift licence is required.
- Dedication to maintaining a safety-first working environment.
- Experience in heavy lifting and rigging is advantageous.
