Role Overview

The Production Technician II is engaged in carrying out daily production activities and executing routines and moderately complex processes under supervision. This role includes final batch record assessments prior to advancing products, preparation of materials for production schedules, equipment upkeep including calibration, and supporting documentation troubleshooting efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Review final batch documentation to ensure accuracy before product progression in the manufacturing line.
• Carry out specialized production tasks requiring prior training.
• Organize and prepare necessary product components for subsequent production cycles.
• Maintain production equipment and perform calibrations as needed to ensure operational integrity.
• Assist the Documentation Department in resolving any formulation discrepancies effectively.
• Perform routine to moderately complex laboratory tasks such as media preparation, material dispensing, labeling, and vessel cleaning.
• Collaborate regularly with leadership and team members to meet production deadlines.
• Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures applicable to assigned roles and departmental areas.
• Manage and maintain appropriate training schedules aligned with occupational duties.
• Keep accurate inventory of raw materials, containers, hoses, and related supplies, supporting timely reordering to maintain stock levels.
• Record all task completion data into designated databases or complete required paperwork diligently.
• Promptly learn and take on new procedures and assignments agreed upon with supervisors.
• Identify and resolve procedural problems, troubleshoot malfunctions, and apply alternative solutions when required.
• Coordinate effective work processes contributing to company objectives.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Education: High school education with chemistry background or relevant laboratory experience is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in a related production or laboratory role.
• Preferred background in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• Comprehensive understanding of job requirements and competent completion of varied tasks.
• Able to manage semi-routine activities with occasional necessary deviations from standard procedures.
• Effective interpersonal and written/oral communication abilities.
• Proficient in performing basic mathematical calculations involving dilutions and unit conversions.
• Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality.
• Physically able to stand for 8-10 hours daily, and to carry, lift, push, and pull loads up to 40 pounds.

Compensation

The role offers a salary of approximately 24.75 per hour.
