Production Specialist - Front Office

Overview

We are searching for an experienced Production Specialist to oversee production management efforts supporting front office platforms. This position emphasizes maintaining high platform stability, availability, and resilience aligned with business needs. It is a fast-moving, collaborative role that requires close coordination with global platform and domain stakeholders to ensure robust and fault-tolerant platform operations. Key platforms supported include the bank's single dealer platform, Digital FX platforms, and e-Trading platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver production support for multiple front office trading environments, collaborating within a global 24/7 follow-the-sun support framework based in Singapore starting at 6am SGT.
• Work directly on the trading floor, engaging with Traders and Sales teams to resolve urgent technical and business challenges.
• Manage incident and problem resolution to maintain high standards of production stability and service quality.
• Provide application management and support, complementing with localized enhancements as requested by the business.
• Conduct proactive system health checks prior to APAC market openings to enable early issue detection and minimize disruption.
• Act as a hands-on Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) championing automation, toil reduction, and improved observability through strategic programs.
• Coordinate deployment and change management activities alongside platform teams, including weekend rollouts.
• Support the bank’s Cloud adoption initiatives contributing technical expertise.
• Analyze recurring platform issues and stakeholder feedback to identify and implement service improvements.
• Lead regional and global business delivery efforts by engaging directly with front office stakeholders to understand requirements and drive solutions.
• Maintain a minimum in-office presence of three days per week.

Required Qualifications and Expertise

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience actively supporting trading platforms, with deep knowledge of complex electronic trading systems.
• Over 5 years’ experience operating within a trading floor environment closely aligned with front office functions.
• Hands-on support experience for client-facing FX Single Dealer and Digital FX Trading platforms.
• Exposure to low-latency electronic trading system support.
• Proficient coding and scripting skills, particularly in Python, Java, and SQL.
• Strong automation and troubleshooting expertise across UNIX and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with observability tools, such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Corvil, Splunk, and Geneos.
• Familiarity with cutting-edge technologies including Cloud computing and Artificial Intelligence.
• Comprehensive understanding of FX and Fixed Income markets, encompassing pricing, trading, and risk management for instruments such as Spot, Forward, Options, NDFs, Bonds, and Swaps.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills capable of clearly conveying complex technical and business concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant technical certifications like Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Python programming, etc.
• Proven expertise in cultivating strong stakeholder relationships and influencing across organizational levels.
