About the Role
The Production Planner position located in Drogheda plays a vital role within the organization, working closely with various departments to implement efficient production schedules that ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and punctually.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the production schedule to align with operational requirements.
- Compile and deliver reports on schedule adherence for the preceding 24 hours.
- Prepare scheduling plans extending 36 to 48 hours and beyond.
- Distribute the daily schedule to relevant internal stakeholders.
- Update the schedule to reflect actual shift hours in the production area, including modifications to shift patterns.
- Participate in morning T1 and T2 production meetings to align team activities.
- Provide accurate lead time estimates informed by the schedule and order backlog, safeguarding On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) delivery commitments.
- Handle escalations effectively to resolve scheduling conflicts or issues.
Working Hours and Professional Development
