Mission
The main purpose of this position is to keep production aligned with the agreed plan, identify the reasons for schedule slippage, and drive corrective follow-up actions.
Responsibilities
- Build and update detailed production schedules on a daily and weekly basis.
- Ensure the production plan matches the required volume agreed in the master production plan and demand plan.
- Convert production plans into released orders and track material shortages and technical closures so the confirmed plan can be achieved.
- Review schedule adherence, pinpoint the root causes of delays or deviations, and take corrective action.
- Study inventory reports and act on slow-moving, excess, and obsolete stock.
- Show resilience and sound judgement when working under pressure.
- Follow the company’s safety and integrity values by taking accountability for your actions and supporting coworkers and the business.
Requirements
- A BE or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in production planning.
- Working knowledge of SAP PP and MM modules.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office tools.
- Exposure to S4 HANA and Power BI will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Quick learning ability and adaptability to new technologies.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
- Flexibility to adjust to changing business needs.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver within deadlines.
