Job Overview

The Production Operator Level 6 is responsible for executing a variety of operational duties that support safe, effective, and efficient production at the facility in Westbury, Tasmania. This role involves handling tasks related to equipment operation, maintenance, reporting, and safety compliance to ensure the smooth functioning of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out operational activities including discharge, loading, transporting, cleaning, labeling, and equipment operation to maintain seamless production processes.
• Periodically examine production equipment for maintenance needs, perform minor repair work when suitable, and report any defects or deficiencies promptly.
• Document production orders and activities accurately within designated logbooks or systems to provide comprehensive insight into production progress and status.
• Identify and report deviations from established processes, techniques, or systems, suggesting improvements to supervisors to enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Adhere strictly to all personal and food safety, environmental, and quality regulations, promoting awareness of SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality) standards and taking action to prevent or manage unsafe situations.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area, ensuring no hazards are present and the production line, workspace, and site appearance are well-kept.
