About the Company

Deccan Nutraceuticals Pvt Ltd (DNPL) was founded in 2001 and operates a manufacturing facility about 30 km from Pune station. The organisation is engaged in the production of bulk drugs and APIs. Its site has successfully cleared USFDA audits five times and EDQM audits twice.

Role Overview

The company is seeking a driven Production Officer to manage routine production operations in its API plant. The role calls for hands-on knowledge of batch processing, GMP adherence, equipment operation, and compliance-focused documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out manufacturing tasks according to the batch manufacturing record (BMR) and approved standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Operate and monitor plant machinery such as reactors, centrifuges, ANFD, FBD, dryers, and related equipment.
  • Oversee charging and discharging of raw materials and ensure process conditions stay within defined limits.
  • Conduct in-process quality checks and escalate any unusual observations or process deviations.
  • Keep all production records up to date, including logbooks, equipment-use entries, cleaning records, and BMR documentation.
  • Track key process variables and maintain compliance with cGMP, safety, and EHS requirements.
  • Work with QA/QC teams for line clearance, sampling activities, and validation-related tasks.
  • Ensure production areas and equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to approved procedures.
  • Assist with process validation, scale-up activities, and technology transfer assignments when needed.
  • Follow all plant safety practices, including correct PPE usage and safe handling of hazardous materials.
  • Report incidents, deviations, and OOS/OOT findings to the production supervisor or department head without delay.
  • Help meet production targets while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Eligibility

Applicants should hold a B.Sc. in Chemistry or a B.Pharma degree in any specialization.
