Production Manager - Paper Plate Manufacturing

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Production Manager to oversee and enhance our paper plate and paper cup manufacturing operations within a disposable products industry. The role involves leading production activities to meet targets, managing manpower, ensuring quality, and optimizing efficiency across the factory.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee entire production processes within the factory environment.
• Plan and monitor production schedules on daily, weekly, and monthly bases.
• Supervise the production workforce including supervisors, operators, and laborers.
• Enhance machinery productivity and reduce equipment downtime through effective strategies.
• Maintain rigorous quality control measures and minimize waste during production.
• Track raw material usage and measure production output accurately.
• Keep detailed production logs and performance metrics regularly.
• Detect production challenges promptly and execute corrective solutions.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to address machine breakdowns and organize preventive maintenance.
• Establish and refine production procedures and standard operating protocols.
• Conduct training sessions to boost worker skill and operational efficiency.
• Enforce discipline and uphold safety regulations on the manufacturing floor.

Candidate Profile

• Preferably experienced in paper plate or disposable product manufacturing sectors.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in managing production activities.
• Proficient in manpower management and production planning techniques.
• Strong leadership qualities with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to meet production goals and enhance operational processes.

Additional Information

• Location: Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
• Monthly salary range: 20000 to 43000 INR.
