Production Manager - FMCG Manufacturing

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Production Manager to join a flourishing manufacturing company based in Enniscorthy, specializing in food, beverage, and nutrition products. This role is essential to ensure efficient production, uphold quality standards, and promote operational excellence within a dynamic and fast-paced setting. The position offers growth potential and is located onsite with parking and possible relocation support.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all daily manufacturing activities across production units.
• Lead and inspire production teams to achieve and surpass targets.
• Manage production timelines while maintaining high quality and operational efficiency.
• Track productivity metrics, labor usage, and operational outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to food safety, quality, health and safety regulations, and internal policies.
• Collaborate closely with Planning, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, and New Product Development departments.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance processes.
• Oversee production KPIs and prepare performance reports regularly.
• Support employee training and development along with performance evaluations.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar leadership capacity.
• Background in food, beverage, nutrition, or FMCG manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership qualities combined with effective people management skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards, quality control systems, and health & safety regulations.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt in a dynamic industry environment.
• Effective communication and collaborative abilities.
