Production Line Assembly Operator

Job Overview

The Production Line Assembly Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and cleaning production machines. This role involves assembling either an entire product or parts of it. Operators on automated assembly lines rotate through various tasks within the production process as per the supervisor's instructions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to production guidelines, work instructions, and product specifications.
• Comply with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Conduct cleanliness activities (5S) at the start and end of each shift.
• Perform In-Process Quality Checks (IPQC) to monitor material usage and ensure quality standards.
• Operate and maintain production machinery and line equipment efficiently.
• Work diligently on the production line to meet set production targets.
• Promptly report any issues or malfunctions to the on-duty supervisor.
• Carry out any additional reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proficient communication skills in the local language (both verbal and written); basic English skills are an advantage.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude; flexibility to work in multiple shift patterns.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of producing quality products.
• Not color blind.

Educational Background

Completion of high school or equivalent certification is required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position primarily involves office-related tasks but also requires regular standing, walking, and sitting. Frequent use of computers and digital devices is expected. Extended standing may be necessary during meetings or while moving around the facility. The physical tasks outlined are essential functions of this job, and the candidate must be able to perform them successfully for prolonged durations.
