About the Role

In the position of Production Employee, you will be responsible for ensuring timely material supply by managing inventory and supply chain data. This role involves close collaboration with international suppliers as well as internal departments such as Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and Management. You are expected to communicate solution-oriented, uphold integrity and confidentiality, and demonstrate intercultural sensitivity within our diverse and international organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage supply chain data within the ERP system, including orders, stock levels, and delivery dates.
  • Coordinate material availability with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels for raw materials, finished goods, and work in progress (WIP), updating WIP status accordingly.
  • Process orders, delivery notes, and shipping documents accurately.
  • Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Handle supplier Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA), including documentation and follow-up.
  • Prepare reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy and lead times; contribute to process improvements and lean initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

  • Completed bachelor’s degree or vocational training in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field, plus at least 3 years of professional experience.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination capabilities.
  • High level of accuracy and care in data handling.
  • Good understanding of supply chain processes, especially inventory and WIP management.
  • Knowledge of supplier quality processes and RMA handling.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (preferably Dynamics 365), Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical skills alongside effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Fluent in German and English at minimum B2 level.
