Metals & Minerals Division

Role Opportunity
The Production Coordinator plays a pivotal role in effectively managing client service delivery from analyzing client sample requests through to communicating results and invoicing. The role includes various administrative responsibilities to support the business unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and interpret client requirements based on Sample Despatch Advice documentation.
- Enter and profile client requirements accurately into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) within 24 hours of submission, and notify clients upon sample arrival.
- Relay client needs and any arising issues promptly to all relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain data entry tasks using LIMS and Microsoft software.
- Report analytical results to clients conforming to unit procedures.
- Issue invoices once the work is completed.
- Use scheduling software as required.
Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) Responsibilities
- Adhere to and promote safe workplace practices by following HSE policies and reporting hazards or incidents swiftly.
- Support environmental compliance and sustainability efforts according to site and corporate standards.
- Participate in safety inspections, audits, and activities aimed at fostering a zero-harm workplace culture.
- Comply with quality and safety procedures, participate in toolbox meetings, and engage in continuous improvement.
- Identify and address quality or safety concerns while supporting ongoing improvement and training initiatives.
- Maintain quality excellence through audits, reviews, and calibration activities, escalating concerns when identified.
Candidate Profile
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with data entry and familiarity with laboratory practices.
- Knowledge and experience using Laboratory Information Management Systems.
- Basic understanding of invoicing processes.
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles.
- Excellent communication skills.
