Although we are not currently hiring for this Production Assistant role, we invite talented individuals to express interest for future openings. Role Overview
The Production Assistant will support the production team by handling various administrative and organizational responsibilities that keep projects running smoothly. Tasks include scheduling, database updates, production report preparation, resource tracking, and digital file management. You will also assist in preparing visual aids such as storyboards and concept art as well as budget tracking and meeting logistics. A proactive, positive attitude and collaborative spirit are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily production tasks including scheduling meetings, updating databases, and compiling production reports
- Support tracking and organizing shots, assets, and resources for projects
- Prepare visual materials like storyboards, previs, and concept art to support creative teams
- Organize research and reference materials for visual effects artists
- Maintain orderly digital file systems with proper naming, formatting, and backups
- Assist in budget preparation and track expenses with variance reports
- Provide administrative support such as booking travel and maintaining project calendars
- Undertake other production-related duties as needed
Candidate Profile
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Detail-oriented with a knack for problem-solving
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Google Suite
- Passionate about visual effects, film, and television industries
