Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled hairdresser to lead the testing of new hair care products. This role demands thorough technical and methodological expertise, focused on ensuring superior product quality and evolution through structured processes and repeated trials.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate in forming and improving testing protocols for hair care items.
• Perform practical tests on shampoos, coloring agents, masks, and treatments according to established procedures.
• Assess product features such as texture, fragrance, ease of application, visual results, durability, finish, and color accuracy.
• Document observations, results, and conclusions with clarity, precision, and organization.
• Benchmark products against internal standards and competitor references.
• Work alongside R&D, training, and marketing teams to provide insights facilitating product enhancement and positioning.
• Manage and update databases of models and volunteers involved in testing.
• Coordinate volunteer schedules aligning with testing requirements.
• Handle orders for internal consumption and ensure efficient organization of technical studies.
• Monitor and track all testing activities conducted.
• Offer support to the Creative Director as needed.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety protocols, and proper handling of products and tools.

Candidate Profile

• Professional training in hairdressing.
• Minimum two years’ experience working in a salon.
• Strong knowledge of hair types, hair structure, and hair care products.
• Ability to perform highly detailed and repetitive tasks diligently.
• Excellent attention to detail and strict adherence to protocols.
• Skilled in objective observation, analysis, and documentation of results.
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and deadline-oriented work style.
• Fluent Spanish language skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in hair care product testing.
• Familiarity with laboratory environments, R&D teams, or cosmetic brands.
• Knowledge of evaluation sheets and testing methodologies.
