Overview

Coca-Cola Consolidated is hiring a Product Supply Sourcing Planner in Charlotte, NC. This role supports efficient operations by improving sourcing decisions, coordinating capacity planning, and using data to guide production and supply-chain actions. The position works across Marketing, Sales and Operations Planning, Master Data, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Supply, so strong coordination, communication, analytical thinking, and business judgment are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create detailed network-optimization models that help improve efficiency, strengthen service levels, and lower costs.
  • Support product supply planning so innovation items reach the market on schedule.
  • Coordinate data flow between internal teams, including in-market dates, master data completion, and the first inventory date.
  • Escalate timing risks when milestones slip and may affect launch dates or other initiatives.
  • Recommend exit approaches or system changes to business leaders when needed.
  • Help run meetings related to downtime planning, sourcing changes, innovation planning, and process updates.
  • Organize and communicate timing and availability details for new products coming from the National Product Supply Group.
  • Identify the best sourcing option for new innovations and existing SKUs using plant capability, capacity, dating requirements, and cost data from large datasets.
  • Use broad business knowledge to make informed decisions even when some variables are non-quantitative.

Requirements

  • Ability to work with Sales and Operations Planning, inventory management, demand planning, and finance concepts.
  • Comfort with abstract inventory and production-planning challenges.
  • Experience supporting multi-functional supply-chain planning for new SKU launches and strategic sales initiatives.
  • Strong customer-service mindset for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good at keeping partners informed, handling issues collaboratively, and tailoring communication to different audiences.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 1 year of relevant work or internship experience.
  • 3–5 years of work experience is preferred knowledge base for the role.
  • Preferred background in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or Finance.
  • SQL, Python, or VBA experience is preferred.

Work Environment

This is an office-based position with a hybrid schedule: 4 days in the office and 1 day remote each week.
